Emergency Window

Under exceptional circumstances, the PBF can disburse emergency funding within the scope of its Terms of Reference to support urgent peacebuilding activities. This facility is activated at the request of the Senior UN Representative in the country and follows a specific submission process, designed to ensure a rapid approval by the Head of the Peacebuilding Office.

UN country offices seeking the support of the PBF under the Emergency Window are advised to make enquiries with the Peacebuilding Support Office (PBSO).
