The Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon declared on 8 January 2008 that the Central African Republic is eligible to receive assistance from the Peacebuilding Fund.

Central African Republic Peacebuilding Fund - Priority Plan

The Central African Republic PBF Priority Plan (in French) identifies the following three priority areas:
• Security Sector Reform
• Promotion of Good Governance and the Rule of Law
• Revitalization of Communities affected by Conflicts
